Connecting different mental and physical spaces, shifting borders, and concepts of identity, my practice serves as a biography of an immigrant, in his/her search for cultural integration and adaptation. Led by a necessity, traveling from place to place, morphing ideologies and cultural differences, the physical and mental experience of being in transition directly informs the content of my work.

In this research I have explored different social and political ideologies and their impact on people as that directly enlightens the work. I am interconnecting images from two different societies, using different symbols and modes of expression, in order to re-state an environment once existed but now only part of my memory.
