| My work is process driven. It is about our hidden histories, the non-verbal memory of events – how we really experience our lives. I begin with an impulse that may be somewhat formless, or a found object that interests me. I let that move and create some image that then becomes refined and clarified, with the addition or modification of the surface. Those revisions remain visible as the work progresses, so that a history is created. |
