Creative action is an intuitive process for me. With clay-stained hands, I engage with each unfolding form as if I am an explorer passing through an unknown wilderness. Each figure feels like a messenger who provides assistance along the way. They allude to the awkwardness and the grace, the curiosity and the fright, the peaceful and sometimes unsettling nature of navigating the path or the threshold that rests before me. This passageway lies between what is dreamt and what is lived, what is remembered and what is yet to be. |
