The spiritual support for my work lucid or regular dreaming, I then paint from a deep ecstatic is provided by the Divine Source. When I connect to this underlying Source, either in waking visions or in state that contains both universal and personal elements. The archetypal symbols I use resonate with various shades of meaning, as in dreams. They express different aspects of the soul’s quest for the Divine. My references to nature express the truth that all living things are related. In their essence they are informed by one divine Spirit. Such an understanding compels a commitment to treat every aspect of the natural world with love and respect. When this vision is reflected in art, it becomes a healing expression of the Sacred. |
