WMG 22nd ANNIVERSARY GALA: REFLECTIONS
WMG's 22nd Anniversary Gala, “Reflections” will celebrate 22 years of support for women artists and honor Beate Minkovski, the co-founder and Executive Director of the Gallery, who will retire this year.
This spirited and fun-filled event will be held on Friday, April 25th, from 5:30 to 9:30 pm, at Ignite Glass Studios, 401 N Armour Street, Chicago IL 60642. Some of our interesting activities and performances are:

Live and Silent Auction: Led by performing artist Patty Elvis, the live auction features three fabulous artworks, a Dinner Party for Eight by Cali Bergold, and an Instant Wine Cellar donated by WMG Board and Advisors. The silent auction offers photographs, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, gift certificates to theaters, restaurants, and various services, including an encaustic lesson by Jenny Learner and a jewelry making lesson for six by Carmen M. Perez!
II. Glass Blowing Demo: A demonstration organized by the Ignite Glass Studios. See Ignite’s Artistic Director Pearl Dick create a vessel that will be donated to the art raffle of WMG!
III. Art Raffle: Win one of three valuable prizes - a painting by Suzanne Keith Loechl, a b/w photograph by Pete O’Connell, and the glass vessel created during the event. You can get 2014 Raffle Tickets here.
IV. The evening opens with musical improvisations by Bill Harrison and Marc Perlish. Musical performance by Patty Elvis announces the live auction : Hailed by BarFly Magazine as “one of the best Elvis impersonators,” Patty Elvis will get you into the mood to enjoy the party and to bid on fabulous live auction items!
The Gala will also host an open bar and offer delicious appetizers and an assortment of gourmet cheeses provided by our favorite catering company, Amazing Edibles and Cabot Creamery.
