Executive Advisor

The WMG Executive Advisor is renowned artist Judy Chicago. Judy joined our gallery in 1997 and visits WMG annually to meet with its board and staff members, and to help with the development of the Gallery. The image to the right shows Judy at her last visit to Woman Made Gallery, listening to our progress report and giving valuable advice for our future development. Senior Advisor

Our Senior Advisor is distinguished artist Janet Bloch. Janet was WMG Director from 1993 to January 2000, when she resigned her position to give more time to her artmaking. She is still very much involved in Gallery activities and assists with grantwriting, conducts workshops and lends her expert advice in a number of issues at hand. Janet Bloch is the three-time recipient of the CAAP grant from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, and a recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Visual Artists Fellowship and the Arts Midwest/NEA Regional Fellowship.
